Ashley and Rachel are amazing!!
I had such a great time having my pictures made and working with them.
I went into the day nervous, anxious, and very self-conscious and left feeling beautiful and full of energy.
I highly recommend the ladies from Southern Belles and am already looking forward to making another visit to them in the future!
1. What made you choose Southern Belles Boudoir?
I spent weeks looking online searching google and every website I could find in search of “the best boudouir photographer in Oklahoma” and Southern Belles was always at the top. I read all the reviews, all the amazing things your past models said about how easy and great it was to work with you all, and I felt like there was no better choice than Southern Belles.
2. What were you nervous about coming into your session?
Like a lot of plus side girls, I struggle with body image issues and worried about how my size would play into my shoot. Because of my size, I’ve always leaned toward the more conservative side of things, not wanting to reveal too much of my body because of my concerns over my size.
3. How do you feel now that your session is complete?
The session left me feeling very empowered. It helped to show me that size didn’t matter and that I am beautiful despite the weight I’ve gained over the years.
4. What was your 3 favorite things about your Southern Belles Experience?
Working with Ashley and Rachel, all the laughs and encouragement, was the best part of the experience. Having my hair and make-up done professionally by Ashlee left me feeling incredible. And, finally, having the ladies there to show me and help pose me and to work with me to make everything feel so amazing was everything I could have hoped for.
5. What would you say to a fellow badass lady who is a little nervous about booking a boudoir session?
Don’t be nervous! These ladies go out of their way to make you feel at ease and comfortable with everything. They get you laughing, they show you exactly what they want, and they make the whole thing fun and exciting. Don’t talk yourself out of doing this! Don’t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone. It is by far the most exciting and exhilarating thing I’ve done in a very long time.
