1. What made you choose Southern Belles Boudoir?
After weeks of looking around for boudoir photographers, I decided on Southern Belles Boudoir because it is the only type of photography they do vs something they did on the side. After looking at their gallery and following them on IG, I took notice that they shoot girls of all shapes and sizes & the poses they had girls doing were amazing. Super empowering!
2. What were you nervous about coming into your session?
Taking off my clothes in front of strangers and most of all, in front of a camera! The chatting beforehand and the champagne definitely calmed my nerves. The girls were so nice, complimentary and positive that it was impossible to be nervous once we got started!
3. How do you feel now that your session is complete?
Sexy and badass! :)
4. What was your 3 favorite things about your Southern Belles Experience?
The girls are really great at making you feel confident and relaxed. I honestly don't think I would have had the same type of experience if I would have gone with another place.
The fact that they do not shoot their photos in a studio that is simply set up like a bedroom but is an actual bedroom. I think that really helped make it feel less intimidating. The natural lighting really made for some bomb ass photos also!
Having the hair and makeup service included and done right there while drinking champagne and talking and laughing with the girls.
5. What would you say to a fellow badass lady who is a little nervous about booking a boudoir session?
If this is something you are thinking about but are having reservations, DO IT! Do it for you. You will feel amazing when it's finished...even more so when you get to see your photos!
You don't need to spend alot of money on outfits. If you have a more simple taste in lingerie, keep it simple! I did and I loved the outcome!
