omg... I am so honored. Here is a little bit of my story and journey.
I can't thank Ashley, Rachel for the beautiful pictures and the love shown through-out the process, and Ashlee M for the hair and make-up.
Here's a little bit about my journey and experience. 2020 has been the most challenging year for me. Covid and quarantine just set the tone of craziness. My husband of 10 years and I have had a hard year of going through some marital pain. His job ended up relocating him to Midland, Tx and wanted us to move and I was fighting it because we love Oklahoma. During all this I was really having a hard time for lots of reasons and one of my very good friends suggested doing a boudoir shoot with Southern Belles for me. She suggested I take a day to get pampered and just feel beautiful and on a whim I just took the plunge and scheduled it with no real intention of buying any photos. ( Only because I have always hated pictures of me). The day of my shoot my husband was actually home in OKC and I decided to bring him along for a date and thought it would be fun. I didn't tell him what or where we were going. I had asked Ashley and Rachel if I could throw him in at the end for some fun and sexy photos just to do something different for us.
Trying to re-kindle some magic and do something outside the normal for us. I could not have been more comfortable from the time I sat in Ashley's make-up and hair chair (and same with my husband) to the time we left. It was so fun and I have never felt sexy and beautiful at the same time. When we had our reveal we were both so excited at how beautiful our pictures turned out that we purchased a package and even have plans of putting them up in our bedroom. We had the hardest time picking out which ones we wanted in the book because we liked so many. I look at them almost every week and I am reminded how beautiful and empowering I am especially in sexy clothes. I absolutely love the way Ashley and Rachel captured my husband and I on camera and to see the way he looks at me is such a turn on. I even send him pictures during the week to make him smile. I would encourage every female to have a photo shoot and pictures taken. Doesn't matter the size or anything because these ladies will empower you and show just how beautiful every shape and style of body is. Thank you again, ladies.
